Help care for the gardens

While the designation process continues, volunteers are needed to maintain the Rain Garden on J Street and the Gilmore Garden at 53rd and J Street through the two year transition period. Work is coordinated by Sacramento County UC Master Gardener Anita Clevenger. Groups are capped at 12 volunteers per workday, and kids 10 and up are welcome with a parent or guardian.

Photos that show you or your family member's participation in the adult education classes that used to take place at El Dorado/McClaskey Adult Center.

Please let us know if you ever took any of the many classes that used to occur there, including Ceramics, painting, computer literacy, small appliance repair, upholstery and folk dancing, square dancing, etc. We need your proof that the school building contributed to the community!
